Terms of Service

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

Lingono is operated by 承德云霏信息科技有限公司. In these terms, we and us mean that company; you means the person using the service. The service includes lingono.com, the learning application at web.lingono.com, and the features offered through them. Contact feedback@lingono.com for questions or assistance.

These terms describe the use of the software. The Privacy Policy explains data processing, the Pricing page describes retail offers, and the Refund Policy governs refund requests. An order and its confirmed payment records identify the entitlements purchased. Registration or use indicates acceptance of these terms; do not use the service if you do not agree.

2. Accounts, guardians and account security

Provide accurate account information and maintain access to your email, phone number or other login method. Protect passwords, passkeys and verification codes. Do not impersonate another person or use an account without authorization. Contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Minors must use Lingono with the consent and guidance of a parent or legal guardian. The guardian should help the minor understand these terms, shared content, privacy choices and any paid order. This is a usage requirement; Lingono does not currently provide automated age verification or a separate child-account mode.

3. Learning software and available features

Lingono supports importing and organizing learning materials, reading and listening, vocabulary and sentence review, learning progress, and Ono conversations, AI explanations and translations. Features depend on the current application, permissions and configuration. Products identified as in development are not promised deliverables.

Learning results depend on the materials, time spent and the learner. We do not promise a particular proficiency level, examination result or learning outcome. Availability of an imported source or external link can also depend on its owner or provider.

4. Your materials and permission to process them

You retain your rights in materials you upload, import, create or share. You must have permission to use those materials and to disclose them to the providers involved in the functions you request. Importing a source does not grant new copyright or distribution rights in it.

To provide the requested features, you permit the necessary storage, copying, format conversion, transcription, translation, analysis, audio generation and display of your materials, including processing by the relevant service providers. This permission concerns delivery of those features; it does not transfer ownership of your materials to Lingono.

Shared or published materials can be accessed according to their visibility and permissions. Deleting your own record does not necessarily remove copies, shared references or material already saved to another service. See the Privacy Policy for account deletion and retention.

5. Software and intellectual property

Rights in the Lingono software, page design, branding and other service assets belong to the company or their respective rights holders. Your right to use the available service does not give you ownership of its software or permission to present its name or logo as your own endorsement.

Third-party and open-source components, content and materials remain subject to their applicable licenses and rights. These terms do not take ownership of your content or remove permissions granted by those licenses.

6. Acceptable use and infringement reports

Do not use Lingono for unlawful activity, infringement, fraud, harassment or harmful content. Do not gain unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, disrupt the service, or use automation to bypass access controls, credit charges or normal usage restrictions.

If you believe material on Lingono infringes your rights, contact feedback@lingono.com with the material link or identifier, the right you claim, supporting information and a reply address. We can then investigate the specific report; do not include passwords or unnecessary identity documents.

7. Pricing, membership periods and credits

The Pricing page shows USD retail references. Online purchases and renewals are not currently available; trial applications are accepted by email. Existing manual payments are recorded according to the actual order, independently of the retail reference. We do not currently provide automatic renewal or an online payment-card form.

Starter and Pro allowances are valid for each 30-day period. Unused membership credits expire without rollover or accumulation. Early renewal queues the next period rather than issuing its credits early. Purchased and gifted permanent credits do not expire, and membership credits are used first.

Credits meter eligible service usage; the displayed balance is not a cash-withdrawal account. Charges depend on the task, selected model and usage. A credit quantity does not guarantee a fixed number of AI tokens. A cash refund is assessed against the original paid order under the Refund Policy, not by converting the current balance into money.

8. AI assistance and generated results

AI-generated definitions, explanations, translations, transcripts and conversations may contain errors, omissions or inappropriate interpretations. Check important results against reliable sources. Do not treat generated output as professional medical, legal, financial or other authoritative advice.

The selected feature may send conversations, source excerpts and enabled learning context to a configured provider. Your use of AI does not guarantee exclusive rights in a result or that a result is suitable for publication. Review generated content before sharing it and avoid submitting information you lack permission to disclose.

9. External content and connected services

Import sources, external links and optional connections such as Google Workspace, OneNote, Notion and Baidu Netdisk are operated by third parties. Their content, availability, terms and privacy practices are governed by those providers. Grant only the permissions needed for your intended use.

Disconnecting a personal connection prevents Lingono from continuing to use that connection. It does not reverse completed operations or remove content already created on the other service. A third-party outage or permission change may prevent an import or tool operation.

10. Availability, service problems and responsibility

Maintenance, network failures, provider interruptions and software faults can affect availability or processing results. Lingono does not promise uninterrupted, error-free service or a fixed support response time. Report problems with the material or task identifier, approximate time and relevant error information.

Credit settlement and cash refunds are different processes. A task that fails, an account deletion or removal of a material is not itself a cash-refund request. We assess order-related problems under the Refund Policy and applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Stopping use and deleting an account

You can stop using Lingono and request account deletion from account settings. Deletion requires verification and confirmation; active tasks, sole organization ownership or organization-linked connections may need to be resolved first. Remaining credits and membership entitlements require an explicit waiver.

Raise any refund request before confirming deletion. The deletion flow invalidates login credentials and asynchronously cleans personal records and unreferenced files; accounting records and shared references can remain. It is not a temporary suspension or a promised recovery feature.

12. Versions, languages and questions

The date above identifies this version. We may update the service and these terms; review the current page when making a new order or using a changed feature. Updates do not retroactively reduce confirmed entitlements for an existing order or remove mandatory consumer rights. Where applicable law requires notice or renewed consent, its requirements apply.

The Chinese, English and Japanese versions have equal effect; no version has automatic priority. Interpret differences using the context, purpose and applicable law while preserving mandatory consumer protection. Contact feedback@lingono.com to clarify a difference or raise a complaint. You retain any complaint or dispute-resolution routes available under applicable law.
